Just had a lovely luncheon meet with Steve,Jean,Doreen,Ian and Lyn in.

Lovely to meet you for the first tme Lyn! - just to let you all know that Bud hasn't eaten our home and eveything was A OK when we got back after 6 hours! Longest time we've ever left him on his own! he went mad, whining and singing and racing round in circles when we walked in!

Hello!

So lovely to meet you at last Julie and Doreen, and to see you again Jean, and of course your respective men! The prospect of me ever dragging my other half along is nil, he is definitely a 'homebird' almost down to slippers and pipe, well perhaps not quite but you get my drift!!

Pleased to hear that Bud was okay Julie and obviously pleased to see you return. It was good to hear all about him and his tricks, hope the psychology starts to work soon otherwise you and Alan might be needing to see one ... yourselves. Scared

Jean, I don't think you should have mentioned Doreen's slight er ... demeanour. You really said you wouldn't and now people are going to be asking questions!! Still Doreen I'm sure it was all an accident, wasn't it?! Least said and all that!

Thank you all for the delightful gifts, Christmas come early! I now have my new tiara and matching magic wand, my broomstick is parked on the drive. I will change my avatar with the 'new look' asap. I'm afraid though, for health and safety issues, I will have to pass up the kind offer of borrowing Melly's cat. Hope he isn't too disappointed.

I also have some new scissors with assorted blades courtesy of Jean and Doreen. I just need to get in a bit of practise then I'll be open for business with new cutting edge innovatory styles. First in the queue Eleanor? LOL

Just to keep me going when I get peckish (often!) I have a hand knitted jam butty complete with paper party plate from Julie. I will never go hungry again!!

Thank you to you all for making my first 'grouse' a very enjoyable one. Here's to lots more ThumpUp Now so tired I think I'll have to flop in bed, much as I'd like to catch up with some posts, I am zapped!

Love Lyn x

It was a total misunderstanding, Doreen, the bum pinching...and after your little faux pas I really don't think you should be critisizing anyone!

What I thought was worse though was when Lyn INSISTED on patting Alan's knee better under the table when he kept bumping it.....

They were plastic scissors Eleanor, surely she can't do much harm with thoseRollEyes

And it wasn't a sandwich, it was steak in a muffin with salad and chips. I saw what you and Lyn looked like eating it with your fingers and decided it would be best to use a knife and fork! (and I didn't want to break me front teeth!LOL ).

Sounds great! Wish I had been there. I would have used a knife and fork to Doreen - for the same reason as you! Lyn can do plenty with plastic scissors! Just be careful putting your hair near them when she is holding them!
